About the ranch

A family rabbit ranch in Saint Jo, Texas, raising meat and show rabbits since 2008.

Our history

Chisholm Trail Rabbit Ranch was started in 2008 with two little girls and four tiny bunnies, curious about agriculture and eager to learn. That tiny beginning sparked a big dream: providing other FFA and 4-H students with opportunities to grow, learn and succeed through hands-on experience with quality meat rabbits.

Today, our ranch is dedicated to supporting youth across the country, sharing the same passion and excitement for agriculture that sparked our journey years ago.

Our mission

Here at Chisholm Trail Rabbit Ranch, we believe in building agricultural knowledge, responsibility and confidence through quality rabbits and strong mentorship. We are dedicated to supporting students and families by offering high-quality, healthy rabbits and reliable resources for a successful show experience.

Our commitment

Healthy rabbits, and help along the way

We breed for health, growth and success in the show ring. Our Californian and New Zealand meat rabbits are raised to give young breeders a strong, competitive start, and our show rabbits are bred for conformation and friendly temperaments.

We are dedicated to making sure everyone has the opportunity to succeed, and we are always willing to give guidance along the way. Once your order is confirmed we email you guidance on preparing for your rabbits, and after they go home we are a phone call, text or email away.
